Obtaining orbs is quite a process because not only do you have to farm select orbs from the different kemono you’re slaying, but you also have to get the appropriate orb based on the island your target is located. Harugasumi orbs are one of the 4 destination-based orbs that fit under this category.

Getting them is tedious, but very simple– all you have to do is slay volatile kemono located on Harugasumi Way. Every other hunt, you will earn at least 1 Magical Harugasumi Orb. Keep in mind that you won’t receive them after every hunt you complete, so don’t freak out when you don’t see them awarded. Again, you should receive one every other hunt, alternating between receiving them and then just getting your typical kemono crafting materials.

The best strategy to speed up the farming process is to complete the individual volatile kemono missions as opposed to the dual kemono battles. You’ll have to repeat slay some of the volatile kemono too, so use this as an opportunity to hone your skills, utilize co-op and maximize your hunting effectiveness. Needless to say, you’ll be pretty busy working on your cladded armor set, so make sure you stay hydrated!

Keep in mind this is coming from what’s likely an early build of the game, so it might look a little ugly. But if you’ve played previous Dragon Age titles, you’ll notice that this is a deviation from the sword and shield combat we’ve previously seen in the franchise. And if you take a gander at some of the more complete looking still images, it appears this may be Bioware’s most graphically ambitious game yet.

Additional tidbits we learned of include everything from the game having improved animations to them reimplementing a jump button just like in Inquisition. It doesn’t look like we’ll be seeing this game in 2023, but if things keep moving in the direction they are, it seems this game will be well worth the wait.

So while this technically is a delay, the game being playable softens the blow a little bit. Endnight will likely take this time to polish the game up for a full PC release, as well as prepare the game for console release in the future. So if you’ve been waiting on this Sons of the Forest, no need to panic– you’ll still be chopping trees on February 23 just as planned.

As we go into what we call “E3 season” (yea, we know E3 is cancelled but you get it) we’re going to be keeping a close eye on this list and what gets unveiled because if this trend continues, we could possibly be getting a Tekken 8, Dragon’s Dogma 2 or even Titanfall 3 announcement in the very near future. Fingers crossed this comes to fruition
